1. About these terms

These terms apply when you hire or buy a gown from Marpex Supplies Ltd. through this website, WhatsApp, phone or our shop. By placing an order you agree to them.

2. Orders and availability

An order is confirmed once we confirm it with you, usually on WhatsApp. Gowns are subject to availability in your size and colours, and we will tell you straight away if something is not available.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Kenya Shillings and shown on the site or quoted to you. Payment is due as agreed when we confirm your order. Delivery fees, where they apply, are shown at checkout.

4. Hire period and returns

• Your hire period starts on the date agreed and lasts for the period you chose (for example one, two or four weeks).
• Please return the gown, hood and cap by the end of the hire period, in the bag provided. If you need longer, contact us before the return date to extend.
• Late returns may be charged for the extra days at the hire rate we tell you when you book.

5. Care and damage

Please keep the gown away from food, drink, candles and wax. Normal wear is fine and cleaning is included. Lost items or damage beyond normal wear, such as tears, burns or permanent stains, may be charged at the repair or replacement cost.

6. Bought gowns

Gowns you buy are yours to keep. If an item is faulty or not what you ordered, tell us within 7 days of receiving it and we will repair, replace or refund it.

7. Cancellations

You can cancel a hire booking by contacting us. If you cancel close to the graduation date, or after a gown has been prepared or delivered, a cancellation charge may apply. We will tell you the amount before you confirm.

8. Institution orders

Bulk orders for schools, colleges and universities are covered by the quote or agreement we send you, which takes priority over these terms where they differ.

9. Our responsibility

We will always do our best to deliver on time. If something goes wrong because of us, we will put it right or refund what you paid for the affected items. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control.
